This assembly provides an opportunity for pupils and staff across Wales to come together to reflect on the importance of Remembrance, explore why we remember those who have served, and learn about the significance of this national occasion. Schools can join the event using the Microsoft Teams links provided below or via the details contained within the attached flyer.
During the session, the Army Regional Engagement Team will discuss the history and importance of Remembrance, as well as how commemorative events continue to play an important role in our communities today. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions via the Microsoft Teams chat function.
Please note that the assembly will be delivered separately in both English and Welsh, with dedicated Microsoft Teams links for each language. The content has been designed to be suitable for pupils of all school ages.
Please note: We recommend joining the meeting 15 minutes before the start time (0845hrs) to ensure a prompt start at 0900hrs and to avoid any delays caused by the high volume of attendees expected from schools across Wales.
