Service Children and their Buddies from Haverfordwest High participated in a sponsored sleep out in support of Veterans who are sleeping on the streets.
They had excellent demonstrations from soldiers of 14th Signal Regiment (EW), demonstrating the improvised shelters that are used in the Army. This was followed up with a Question and Answer session with a Veteran who had been homeless and lived on the streets.
The fantastic youngsters slept outside all night with just a roll-mat and sleeping bag for comfort (not to mention enough snacks to stock the shelves at Tesco) and raised in excess of £1000 for the VC Gallery.
Well done to everyone at Haverfordwest High involved!
