Ymweliad gan riant milwrol yn Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog

A visit from a military parent at Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog

Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog (Denbighshire)

Ysgol Cefn Meiriadog are a school in Denbighshire, North Wales, with one Service child. Please see below a quote from Headteacher, Laura Martin, and some lovely photos of what they got up to in April to celebrate Month of the Military Child!

"We celebrated the Month of the Military child by holding an assembly to share lots of information with the whole school. During this assembly our Serivice child shared his experiences and we watched videos from the SSCE website.

We then had a 'wear purple' day and used the day to find out more about the military and the experiences of military children. We welcomed our military parent into classes to share his experiences and to ask him questions about his work.

Classes produced some dandelion artwork and posters thanking the military for the sacrifices they make. We ended the month with another visit from our military parent who brought in a variety of equipment for the children to try on, they tasted some foods heated on the stove and enjoyed asking more questions."
