Llanfair Primary School (Vale of Glamorgan) Remembrance Service

Llanfair Primary School's Remembrance Service

Nov 25

On Tuesday 11th  November, Service Children, family members and Governors from Llanfair Primary School in the Vale of Glamorgan held a special service of Remembrance after the whole school had taken part in their Remembrance Service.

19 pupils took part, either by laying a poppy for a family member or for a member of the village. Junior pupils also laid a stone to recognise those who served their country. They laid stones for; veterans, animals who have served, people who lost their lives and for members still serving. A stone was also laid so that we may never forget their sacrifice. Jack, a year 6 pupil read a Remembrance poem and then we had a minute's silence.

Miss Jones was extremely proud of the respect shown by all the Service Children.
