Service Pupil Promise

Service Pupil Promise

SSCE Cymru Service Pupil Promise - An initiative designed to celebrate, support and empower military connected children and young people by giving them a direct voice in shaping the support they receive from schools and local authorities.

A Service Pupil Promise is a pupil voice initiative, it is a commitment from the local authority to support children from Armed Forces families ensuring we listen to their voices, and strengthen the local authorities commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.

The initiative includes Service pupil voice workshops bringing Service children together from across the local authority, acknowledging the unique challenges they face, such as mobility, separation, and transition, and ensures they receive the recognition and tailored support they deserve.

The workshops not only provide opportunities for Service children to interact and socialise with others across the county but also allows a wide variety of perspectives and experiences to be gathered. Following the workshops all the information is collated and reflected upon and the Service Pupil Promise is formed

By working together the Promise is created and enhances Service children's educational experience and strengthens the local authority’s commitment to inclusion and support.

We're not just a team, we're a family.
