Llanfair Primary Schools in the Vale of Glamorgan marked Remembrance day with a whole school assembly and a Service for their Service children.
Thank you to Miss Jones, the MOD LSA at the school who shared these lovely photos and what they had been up to with us.
"Pupils were given a poppy last week to put a loved ones name on - these were then laminated and have since been put on display for all parents and children to see
• A year 6 pupil read out a Remembrance poem
• Junior pupils lay 5 decorated stones; for veterans, serving personnel, those who lost their lives, those still suffering and animals who helped in conflict
• All pupils, 19 in total, lay a poppy to remember their loved ones or men from the village
• We had a minutes silence
• MOD parents were invited and 10 parents and grandparents attended."
