Haverfordwest High VC School have had another busy month celebrating Month of the Military child this year.
The school shared:
"Earlier this year, some of our pupils participated in the production of the Service Children Experience videos. We showed some of the videos at all of our School Assemblies during the MOTMC to inform everyone about the challenges and experiences that Service Children may have to deal with.
We also officially launched our Service Children Ambassador scheme, initially enrolling 14 members of our Forces Life Club to be the 'face' of Service Children around the School. They now proudly wear their distinctive badges on their School uniform and provide support to all Service Children and information to the wider School.
Towards the end of the month, we participated in a pilot Service Pupil Promise session and are looking forward to the main workshop in June.
To end the MOTMC, members of the Forces Life Club, and their Buddies, participated in Purple Up Day in the School followed by a visit to Heatherton Adventure Park in Pembrokeshire. We had a fantastic day with great weather and were very well looked after by the Heatherton Staff. Very, very many thanks to SSCE Cymru for funding this activity."
