Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 Never Such Innocence Month of the Military Child poetry and art competition — including two from Wales!
Evie-Sue, a Service child from Ysgol Glan Clwyd, and Rochelle from Prestatyn High School (both Denbighshire), were recognised for their powerful poems reflecting this year’s theme: Memories. Their work is a moving example of how young people express their experiences and emotions.
In June, to mark the start of Armed Forces Week, the winners were invited to a special celebration at the Ministry of Defence in London, hosted by the Never Such Innocence team.
