The SCiP Alliance held their Service children's support sector development day in Leeds to get stakeholders together to explore ways to improve provision for children and young people from Armed Forces families.
Millie (SSCE Cymru Programme Manager), Emilee (East Wales RSLO) and Cara (North Wales RSLO) travelled to Leeds to participate in the SCiP Alliance Service children's support sector development day. It was a fantastic opportunity to get together and take part in some great activities with other stakeholders from different organisations, charities and education providers to hear about the work that is already being done to support Service children and young people and what could be done to further improve provisions.
As one of the SCiP Alliance Service Children Champions, Millie was part of the organising team and played a role throughout the day, leading activities and facilitating discussions / workshops.
A huge thankyou to the SCiP Alliance for putting on a fantastic event and allowing us the opportunity to be involved and share our passion and drive for supporting Service children and young people.
