Ysgol Bae Baglan proudly celebrated receiving their GOLD Armed Forces Friendly School (AFFS) status. This recognition follows the school’s previous achievements of Bronze and Silver AFFS Cymru awards, reflecting its continued commitment to embedding best practices in support of military-connected children and young people.
The school has cultivated a positive and inclusive environment, offering opportunities for Service children to share their experiences and feel seen and supported. Ysgol Bae Baglan is also mindful of key moments in the year that hold significance for this cohort, such as the Month of the Military Child (April) and Remembrance. These efforts have strengthened the school’s engagement with the local Armed Forces community.
