On Friday 3rd October, members of the SSCE Cymru team attended the National Education Show in Cardiff, joined by colleagues from the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA). The event provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wide range of support available to educators working with military-connected children and young people across Wales.
We were delighted to be joined by Victoria Fisher from the SCiP Alliance, who was on hand to answer questions about their role within the Armed Forces Friendly Schools Cymru framework. She also shared how the SCiP Alliance leads a national network of partners dedicated to enhancing support for Service children’s education and progression.
It was a pleasure to speak with so many teaching professionals, raise awareness of our programme, and reconnect with schools already engaged in our work. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, we truly appreciated your time and enthusiasm.
