Cwmclydach Primary School in Rhondda Cynon Taf celebrate achieving their Silver Armed Forces Friendly School Cymru status.
Ellis Regan (RSLO South) attended the whole-school celebration assembly along with Harley Foster from RCT council, whereby children from Cwmclydach presented an assembly about the Armed Forces. The school was awarded their Silver certificate and an AFFS teddy at the end of the assembly. Following the assembly, the school hosted a carousel of activities in all classes with the theme of the Armed Forces - this included workshops and activity sheets using the fantastic resources from Little Troopers. It was a lovely afternoon, and amazing that the whole school celebrated this amazing achievement. Congratulations Cwmclydach! And a special thank you to Headteacher Linsey Owens, Acting Deputy Head Kath Owens, and Deputy Kayley Phillips for being able to attend, and brought along baby Jack for the celebrations! Thank you for all the work you do in supporting your Service children - now let's get you to Gold!
