In June, the SSCE Cymru team had the pleasure of being kindly hosted by RAF Valley for our team get-together. It was a productive and reflective few days, with lots of discussion around current and upcoming projects. We took time to look back on the support we've been providing to education staff and explored meaningful ways to improve and build upon this work.
We did miss Cara for a couple of the days, as she was unfortunately unwell, but we were so glad she could join us on our final day together.
To round off the week, Millie and Jo travelled to Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Friday 13th June to attend the National Education Show alongside some of our colleagues from the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA). SSCE Cymru were thrilled to share a stand with the National Music Service Wales and Neurodivergence Wales teams - an excellent opportunity to promote the range of support available to educators across Wales.
It was a fantastic day. Millie and Jo enjoyed chatting with teaching staff and raising awareness about the work of SSCE Cymru. A fun highlight was meeting Mr Bojangles, a famous and very well-behaved dog who made quite the impression!
