In Wales, Help for Heroes’ Community Recovery Team delivers holistic support to veterans and Armed Forces personnel who have been affected by their military Service. Its expert team offers tailored advice and activities to wounded, injured and sick individuals at every stage of their recovery journey. It travels across Wales to ensure its services are available within the community at the point of need.
Help for Heroes in Wales provides expert support for veterans who served in the British Armed Forces, and anyone who served alongside the military, including their families and carers.
Community-based teams help people with a wide range of issues, which include physical and mental health challenges, money or housing worries, finding employment or claiming benefits. There is also a programme of free sporting and social activities across the UK, and online. We have also partnered with Kooth to provide free online mental health support for 11-18 year olds.
