Grant funding Armed Forces Covenant Fund: Force for Change programme

Armed Forces Covenant Fund: Force for Change programme

This programme is administered by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT), a charity who supports the Armed Forces Covenant by delivering funding programmes that create real change to Armed Forces communities across the UK.

What is the funding purpose?

Grants of up to £15,000 for local community projects that respond to the hidden, compelling or complex needs of the most vulnerable members of Armed Forces communities. These projects would reduce isolation and promote integration; supporting post-Covid recovery in local Armed Forces communities affected by isolation.

Who is eligible?

  • Charities or Community Interest Companies (CIC)
  • Armed Forces units or bases
  • Local authorities
  • Schools
  • A statutory body that delivers or co-ordinates NHS care.

What are the priorities?

Making small grants that can make a big difference, especially to Armed Forces communities that are facing particular challenges due to cost-of-living challenges, or where there are hidden or complex needs within local Armed Forces communities and a local project could help address problems that vulnerable people are facing.
