Service children at Glyn Gaer Primary School (Caerphilly) led their school in celebrating Month of the Military Child by holding a Purple Up day assembly. The whole school joined in having learnt the song 'Count On Me' by Bruno Mars which was sung to reflect kindness and being supportive. The school choir also sang the Service children song Daffodils and Dandelions.
In addition to the assembly MotMC was also celebrated through different activities. KS2 children completed activities with Forces Fitness and infant children were able to work with the schools link governor (who previously Served) on other activities in school.
Glyn Gaer's Service children also got the opportunity to take part in a special workshop using wood tools to make their own tic tac toe games from wood and enjoyed a games morning together.
