SSCE Cymru e-learning

SSCE Cymru e-learning

Funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, the SSCE Cymru e-learning training package has been designed to give educators the tools and confidence to understand and support the needs of Service children within their education settings in Wales.

This free training package consists of nine topics and will take roughly two hours to complete. Your progress will be saved so that you can continue where you left off and revisit the training as required.

You will need to create an account and enrol onto the ‘Supporting Service Children in Education in Wales’ course. Upon completion, you will be asked to complete a short feedback form before your certificate becomes available for you to download.

If you need further support accessing the e-learning package please contact SSCECymru@WLGA.gov.uk

Great links that I will use and very comprehensive. I loved the videos.

It was very interesting to learn of the different mobility, deployment and transitions that families experience.

Hearing from the children was great.

Harry

"In my eyes, you have hundreds of friends in different places."

Ieuan

Sanjog

"I’m going to a new place entirely. They don’t know anything about me and that’s a big restart and that’s really good for me."

Piaras

"I moved to Wales because my dad was posted in the Army. I thought I would get bullied and I was shy when you meet new people, but I made some friends."
