Armed Forces Festival - NORTH WEST

SSCE Cymru would love to welcome you to this FREE Armed Forces Festival.

This event is open to all compulsory school aged children. If you are a school with less than 10 of Service children, we are happy for the Service children to bring a buddy, we request that the number of attendees from your school is at least 50% Service children.

The Service children / young people will will be grouped by age and participate in five different workshops focusing on history, health and wellbeing, creative tasks and team building exercises.

Workshops at the North West Wales Armed Forces Festival will be delivered by:
  • CELS
  • Never Such Innocence
  • RAF Engagement Team
  • Oriel Mon
  • Royal Welsh Fusiliers Museum

School staff supervising the Service children / young people will have the opportunity to participate in activities and network with each other along with the SSCE Cymru team and supporting members of the local authority.

Pupils should wear school uniform/school PE kit and trainers and bring their own packed lunch. Parking is available on-site. Consent forms for all participants will be required this will be sent with further information following your booking.
