Team Teulu with support from the staff, pupils and members of the Little Troopers Club at Ysgol Gynradd Baglan Primary School, welcomed Service children/young people from other local schools to their Forces Festival.
Through the local schools in Neath Port Talbot, Team Teulu were able to invite roughly 167 Armed Forces families to this event. Those that attended were able to come together and share their experiences. Team Teulu received wonderful feedback, with a few children requesting that this event be hosted annually. It was a great way to bring the community together and fantastic to see so many organisations supporting on the day. SSCE Cymru were delighted to be invited along and meet with more Service children/young people and school staff to further promote our programme and how we can offer further support, funding opportunities and resources to those schools with Service children.
